I love the number ‘3’. I recommend choosing 3 skills from the list that call your attention. (Try not to overthink as all of the skills are interconnected!)
Schedule your sessions 2 -4 weeks apart. It’s enough time to practice what you’re learning and just right for gaining momentum. -
In a word: Yes. These 9 skillsets are foundational. Core skills to navigating life. (And developed with my own qualifications in mind.)
In our first session you will clarify your challenges, hopes and goals. So, bring your ideas and we’ll have a conversation.
Chances are your specific priorities such as “deciding where to go to college” or “how to save money” will be supported by these foundational skills!
(Example: If you desire support around “being financially organized” I would suggest a focus on “Making Decisions, Embracing Emotions and Defining Success.”)

Coaching and Therapy are different.
Both offer trained and personalized support toward self-awareness and well-being.
Therapy is considered healthcare and is the appropriate approach for mental health diagnoses and serious concerns.
Coaching is considered personalized education to learn and practice skills, and create the experiences you want life.
Coaching should not be used as a replacement for Therapy to treat mental health diagnoses.
My vision is for our coaching sessions to be trusting and honest space together. One where you feel welcome to arrive just as you are and be yourself, sharing your struggles, worries and hopes.
As we begin, we will normalize human experiences and emotions and we will review a Well-Being, Privacy & Safety form.
Clients are asked to identify an Emergency Care Contact to notify if there is ever a concern about Client’s mental health or immediate safety.

These coaching skills and personalized support can be very helpful for young people who assess with ADHD and mild levels of Autism.
We adjust for communication and learning styles in both virtual and in-person sessions.
-
I offer one complimentary info session and encourage young people and their parents, caregivers to join in together.
The one-to-one coaching sessions for those aged 15-25 are uniquely beneficial to discover and learn and so parents/caregivers are not allowed to join in for sessions.
Instead, I encourage young people to share their resources and action plans along the way. My hope is there is inspiration to talk about new ideas! And I do recommend special sessions for young people with their Parents/Caregivers! Welcome to schedule at any time.

Nope. Not from me anyway. Do we really benefit from more posts and reels?
Your coaching skill sessions will be live, real-human-being, totally customized support. And include handy-little guides to help you remember what you’re learning. No gimmicks.
Doesn’t that sound kind of nice?
I’m Jessica. Teacher, coach and mom.
This program has been years in the making. Because I was once an uncertain and way-too-shy young person. I struggled with lots of new experiences. I observed how other people seemed to be figuring things out. Or sometimes not. And I’ve spent my 25-year career teaching people to communicate better — and that includes how they communicate within themselves...
Mostly, I’ve learned a lot.
I love working with emerging adults. I launched 3 internship programs. Taught at 2 different colleges. Always volunteering as a mentor. And I’m a mom of a few soon-to-be grown-ups myself.
