Mission
My mission is to help people create more understanding inside us so that we can experience more closeness and less conflict with other human beings around us.Values
Not just beautiful words, rather what guides every action.Discovery
Staying open, curious and brave to learn what we were not expecting to learn. And notice what happens next.Generosity
To strive to give more than we receive. To create more than we destroy. Always.Connectedness
Every molecule on this earth is touching. How we take care of ourselves impacts how we listen to a coworker, which impacts how they speak to the grocery store cashier, which affects how they tuck in their child. All connected. -

I evolved to teach people how to communicate — in both professional and personal relationships — organically. Sometimes painfully. Sometimes magically. In my career and in my life.
I came to see opportunity in confusion and that wonderful moment when you discover conflict as actually just a misunderstanding. I had to do something.
Everything I teach is rooted in research-based understanding of our biology and behavior. Our emotions, our minds, our culture and whatever situation we find ourselves in.
I call it “whole human communication” because machines will never replace the sound of relieving laugh when a decision is reached or sparkle of eye contact that shares a great idea or the feeling of a tearful hug after a long, tense discussion.
So, learn to communicate being you. Understanding you. Understanding other people. And enjoying what that feels like.
“With patience and great energy, Jessica is incredibly helpful before those hard conversations.”

Please reach out to connect here.. It’s still an old-reliable for professional networking. I regularly check messages on LinkedIn and post just-about-weekly thoughts and tips on communication.

Of course.
I’ve always loved bulletin boards. Especially in coffeeshop entryways. Awesome. Boards on “Coaching” or “Our Brains” can make great starting points for discovering what you want to learn. And the other Boards here peek behind-the-scenes at my hobbies and inspiration.
Practically vintage, I know.
