A therapist offers services that help a client — or patient — better understand their past as well as their current existence. These could relate to relationships, experiences, trauma, mental health, etc. Emphasis on therapy is on understanding and healing. It can be highly beneficial for someone to work both with a therapist and a coach simultaneously.
